Why Us? Relationships: Meet Samantha Blaylock, Vice President of Retail Banking
Samantha Blaylock has been part of the Bank of Little Rock family for 22 years. She started her career at our Heights branch as a teller and worked her way up to Vice President of Retail Banking, where she now oversees all five of our branches.
In addition to her leadership on the retail side, Sam also plays a vital role in our Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) program. Her dedication, professionalism, and heart for community banking have made her an invaluable part of our team.
When asked what she enjoys most about working at BLR, Sam doesn’t hesitate—it's the way we treat our customers and the friendships she’s built with her coworkers over the years.
A lifelong resident of Bryant, Sam enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, entertaining, and going all out for Christmas decorating. She has one daughter in whom she takes great pride. Her favorite saying—“Try and you might; don’t and you won’t”—comes from a mentor early in her career and continues to guide her leadership style. She’s a firm believer that there’s no “I” in TEAM.
